Mindfulness Therapy

Are you stressed? Anxious? Agitated? Restless?  Feel like you are wearing too many hats, unable to concentrate?  Are you constantly reliving the past or thinking about the future? Are you a stressed individual, or a company with stressed staff? Then mindfulness can help.

Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way, on purpose and non-judgementally. Mindfulness can help manage stress which helps improve wellbeing and overall happiness. Mindfulness focuses in on the present moment using certain meditation techniques. It helps you to let go of unhelpful habits meaning you are able to make wiser choices. Research suggests that mindfulness is able to improve concentration and physical wellbeing. It can help us relate to others more skilfully. Are you stressed at work, do you have poor work/colleague relationships? Do you struggle with past events? Mindfulness can help you to improve these relationships. Mindfulness reduces reactivity to certain situations enabling you to remain calm and centred.

Mindfulness courses can be arranged for group settings, for business, corporate days, inset days for teacher/staff wellbeing days. A bespoke service is available ranging from taster sessions, full day courses or weekly courses.

Current Mind-Therapy clients include Salford Council, Big Life Centres, Lancashire County Council and Sure Start.
